For me, real estate has never been just a career. It’s been a lifelong passion.
I grew up watching my parents invest in rental property and learned early that real estate has the power to change a family’s future. They taught me that wealth isn’t built overnight. It’s built through patience, smart decisions, hard work, and thinking long term. Those lessons became the foundation for the way I approach both investing and business today.
Years later, those same values inspired me to begin building my own investment portfolio. Today I personally own 10 rental homes, and I continue to enjoy every aspect of investing, from evaluating opportunities and renovating properties to completing 1031 exchanges and helping those investments grow over time.
Because I’m both a property manager and a rental property owner, I understand the decisions my clients face from firsthand experience. I know the excitement of purchasing an investment property, the challenges that come with unexpected repairs, the importance of keeping great residents, and the responsibility of protecting an investment that someone has worked incredibly hard to acquire.
Every property we manage is treated with the same level of care I expect for my own.
Over the years I’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of Ventura County property owners navigate everything from leasing and maintenance to California rental laws, investment strategy, and long-term portfolio growth. While every property is different, my goal has always remained the same.
Help people protect what they’ve built while creating opportunities for future success.

What I’m Building
One thing you’ll quickly learn about me is that I’m naturally curious.
I’ve never believed that experience should replace learning. The property management industry is changing faster than ever, and I want Esquire Property Management to lead that change rather than simply react to it.
Every week I dedicate time to learning about automation, artificial intelligence, workflow design, and emerging technology that can improve the experience for our clients, residents, and team members.
I’m continually expanding my expertise in Zapier and n8n automation because I believe repetitive work should be handled by technology whenever possible. Every task we automate gives our team more time to do what technology can never replace: building relationships, solving problems, and delivering exceptional customer service.
One of the projects I’m most excited about is developing an AI-powered after-hours emergency response system from the ground up. My vision isn’t to replace people. It’s to make sure residents receive immediate guidance when they need it while ensuring true emergencies reach the right team members without unnecessary delays.
Another project that’s especially meaningful to me is ZizFlow.
I created ZizFlow because I saw an opportunity to improve the way renters discover available homes. Instead of waiting for listings to appear on the major rental websites, subscribers receive early notifications about upcoming rental opportunities. That helps renters find homes sooner while helping property owners reduce vacancy time and connect with qualified applicants more quickly.
To me, technology should never make property management feel less personal.
It should make great customer service even better.
My Philosophy
Everything we do at Esquire Property Management is guided by three simple principles.
Work Hard
Success is earned through preparation, consistency, accountability, and a willingness to do the little things well every day. Our clients trust us with one of their largest investments, and we never take that responsibility lightly.
Live Zen
Real estate can be stressful. We don’t believe our clients should feel that stress every time they call our office.
Staying calm, organized, and solutions-focused allows us to make better decisions, communicate more effectively, and provide a better experience for everyone involved.
WOW Them with Customer Service
Customer service isn’t a department. It’s our culture.
Whether we’re helping a resident through an emergency, assisting an owner with a difficult decision, or welcoming a first-time investor, we believe people remember how you made them feel long after they’ve forgotten the details of the transaction.
Those aren’t just words hanging on an office wall.
They’re the standards we challenge ourselves to live every day.
Outside the Office
Outside the office, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, working on one of my rental properties, or learning something new.
I enjoy searching for investment opportunities, studying real estate markets, and finding creative ways to improve both my own portfolio and the experience we provide our clients.
When I’m able to step away from work, you’ll probably find me reverse-searing a tri-tip for friends and family, learning how to ballroom dance with my wife Tracy, playing tennis, hiking the beautiful trails throughout Ventura County, swimming, or simply enjoying everything our local community has to offer.
I’ve always believed life should have balance. Working hard is important, but so is making time for family, friendships, good conversations, laughing and creating memories with the people you love.
Why I Love What I Do
People often ask what keeps me motivated after all these years.
The answer is simple.
I love building things.
Sometimes that’s helping an investor purchase another rental property.
Sometimes it’s completing a successful 1031 exchange.
Sometimes it’s designing a better workflow that saves our team hours every week.
Sometimes it’s building an AI-powered emergency response system.
Sometimes it’s creating ZizFlow so renters can discover homes before they’re listed on the major rental websites.
Sometimes it’s simply helping a first-time landlord sleep better at night because they know someone genuinely cares for their investment.
Those projects may look different on the surface, but they’re all driven by the same question.
How can we make this better?
That question has shaped my career, our company, and the direction we’re heading.
I don’t believe property management has to be stuck doing things the way they’ve always been done.
I believe experience and innovation belong together.
By combining decades of real-world property management experience with thoughtful technology and a commitment to exceptional customer service, my goal is simple.
Help property owners protect their investments.
Help residents feel cared for.
Help our team enjoy meaningful work.
Help strengthen the communities we serve throughout Ventura County.
If you’re looking for a property manager who is continually learning, investing, innovating, and genuinely committed to helping people succeed, I’d be honored to earn your trust.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about my story. I hope we have the opportunity to be part of yours.
