Free House Keys, Local Traditions & a Little Esquire Hospitality at Ventura’s Día de los Muertos 2026

Sunday, November 1, 2026 | 11 AM – 6 PM | Downtown Ventura, California

What do a key-cutting machine, a property management company, and one of Ventura’s biggest cultural celebrations have in common?

This year, quite a bit.

We’re packing up our key duplicator, heading to Downtown Ventura, and joining the community for the 2026 Día de los Muertos Festival. And we’re bringing a few things to give away.

At Esquire Property Management, we spend most of our days helping people with their homes. On November 1, we’re taking a little piece of that work out of the office and onto the streets of Ventura.

No appointments. No sales pitch required. Just stop by and say hello.

Bring Your House Key. We’ll Make You a Spare. For Free.

Yes, we’re actually bringing our key-cutting machine.

If you’ve been meaning to make an extra house key, bring your original to the Esquire booth. We’ll duplicate compatible standard house keys at no charge during the festival.

You don’t have to be an Esquire tenant. You don’t have to own a rental property. You don’t even have to talk about real estate.

We just thought it would be a useful thing to offer our neighbors.

After all, most people don’t think about needing a spare key until they’re standing outside their front door wishing they had one.

Free house key duplication will be available at our booth during the event, subject to key compatibility, authorization, and availability.

Looking for a Rental Home? We’re Waiving Application Fees.

Finding a rental home in Ventura County can be challenging enough without paying application fees every time you find a property worth considering.

So we’re bringing another special offer to the festival.

Visitors to the Esquire booth can learn about our free rental application package promotion for eligible homes in our management portfolio.

Whether you’re looking for an apartment in Ventura, a condominium in Oxnard, or a single-family rental in Camarillo, our leasing team can help you explore what’s available.

You can also browse our Ventura County tenant resources and rental information before visiting the booth.

And if you’re not quite ready to move, ask us about our early rental alerts. We created ZizFlow to help local renters discover upcoming Esquire-managed homes, sometimes before those listings reach major rental websites.

We’re trying to make the rental search a little more convenient, one local renter at a time.

Standard rental qualification and screening requirements still apply. Promotional eligibility does not guarantee application approval or property availability.

Own a Rental Property? Your First Month of Management Could Be on Us.

We’re not forgetting Ventura County’s landlords.

For property owners considering professional management, Esquire will be offering one month of free property management for qualifying new clients who take advantage of our festival promotion.

Maybe you’ve been managing your rental yourself for years. Maybe you’ve inherited a family home. Or perhaps you’re simply wondering whether your current management arrangement is still the right fit.

We’d be happy to talk.

Since opening Esquire in 2008, we’ve grown to manage more than 1,300 rental homes throughout Ventura County. Along the way, we’ve learned that no two rental properties, and no two property owners, are exactly alike.

That’s why our conversations start with understanding the property and the owner’s goals.

If you’d like to learn more before the festival, explore our Ventura Property Management Guide or read about how we market rental properties throughout Ventura County.

Or simply contact our team to schedule a free property management consultation.

No obligation. Just an opportunity to get acquainted.

Why We’re Looking Forward to Día de los Muertos in Ventura

Día de los Muertos is a celebration of remembrance, family, and the connections that continue across generations.

Those traditions deserve to be at the center of the day.

Downtown Ventura’s annual festival brings together community altars, mariachi music, cultural performances, Catrinas, classic lowriders, artists, local businesses, and families from throughout the region.

We’re grateful to have an opportunity to participate.

Esquire started as a family business in 2008, and family remains central to who we are. Our work has introduced us to generations of Ventura County property owners and residents, each with their own stories and connections to the homes they live in.

We’re proud to be part of a community where those connections matter.

And if we can help a few neighbors leave the festival with a spare house key, that’s a pretty good day in our book.
